My cousin Kerry, whose wedding I attended the week before Jimbo popped the question made her own favors. Chocolate truffles in a box tied with ribbons that rival Godiva. I’ve already put my request in for her to do my favors.

We’re currently working on the engagement party for the immediate families and members of the wedding party to meet.

I’m sure I’ve said this before, but sometimes it feels good to feel crabby. Does that make sense? Ugh! Aunt flo came to visit and she’s been tossing around the hormones so I’m all crab crab crab. But I’m ok with that. It’s like a little vacation from being well-behaved.

I swore at the scale this morning. It’s easier to do that than swear at myself, which in reality, is what I’m really doing. Four months, ten days. Why’s it so damn hard to stay motivated to lose weight?

Met with the new wedding planner yesterday for about two hours. I’m proud to admit that she christened me the most organized bride she’s ever had. I’m such a geek with my multi-workbook wedding spreadsheet. She’s sending a contract, we’re going to sign and give her a deposit and she’s mine until the big day. She’ll go on appts with me, ask all the right questions, help me bring it all together and be there (with three other ladies) on the wedding day to make sure that everything go off without a hitch.

Yay! Twitch. Twitch. She told me that I should definitely not keep the wedding dress in it’s bag, and that I should immediately go out and get 100% cotton sheets and wrap it up. Dress has been in the bag for months. Twitch.

Zillions of questions about details. Flowers, transport, pictures before or after, hair, makeup… Things I still haven’t decided on.

I know, i sound really crabby, but really I’m fine. just having fun with it. If this blog post makes any sense whatsoever.

Still deciding on a wedding vendor. But here is what I’m thinking…

I might go without the pink and just do more yellow roses, or add a pale red rose in there.

(without the stephanotis and green thingies. to have the same greenery as my bouquet)
