Last week I listed 13 things that I have checked off my wedding todo list. This week, I'm picking 13 items from my very long list of wedding todos.

1. Hire a florist and decided on all of the wedding flowers (I have an appt tonight!)
2. Finish final touches on invitations, assemble and send (I made them myself)
3. Have my dress fitted, buy a petticoat
4. Figure out what I'm going to do with my hair
5. Finalize menu, menu cards
6. Figure out transportation
7. Meet with officiant and music director, decide on ceremony and ceremony music, design ceremony programs
8. Eat cake. Decide on cake. Eat more cake.
9. Design favor packaging
10. Buy gifts for the groom, parents
11. Spend hours dreaming about honeymoon in Punta Cana
12. Minimize worry
13. Breathe

It’s less than 4 months until my wedding. Instead of focusing on what I have left on my todo list, I thought I’d focus on what I have done!

1. Booked the church
2. Booked the reception hall
3. Bought my dress & veil
4. Booked the honeymoon (Punta Cana)
5. Bought bridesmaid dresses
6. Bought the wedding bands
7. Bought my shoes
8. Hired a wedding coordinator
9. Picked out and set up the tuxes
10. Chose wedding colors
11. Ordered my tiara/veil comb
12. Saved nearly enough money to pay for the wedding
13. Picked out a suitable groom

   I had the most amazing mushroom crepe in all the world (it had a
   poached egg on top…swoon…what amazing comfort food)! (Same as Janet)
8. something that made me cry: does PMS count?
9. something that made me laugh: Jimbo in his new snuggie!
10. something i looked forward to this month: lots of time off.
11. something i am thankful for: That I was able to be there for Janet when her Dad passed.
12. something i want to remember about this month: That Christmas is still magical!.
