At one time in my life, I had and was convinced by others that white walls was the best and easiest way to decorate. I too took the plunge a few years ago now….and I LOVE color. I even did a bathroom in black and gold [yes, black walls with gold and black flowered wallpaper] and it’s marvelous!!!

Red and yellow…I love the whole concept.

My 13 is now posted, it’s all about mockingbirds and photos of a nest of 3!! Come by and see if you can find time.

Count me in as crazy too. I LOVE to paint. Which is a good thing because once the puppies leave I have to paint the house trim this year!

What have I learned about house painting? That artists suck at it!

I’m an artist and I am the sloppiest, messiest house painter in the world (well, almost) – probably because I can’t get too creative with it and I get bored, lol.

I’ve always known to put on grungy clothes whether I’m painting walls or a canvas – I lost a gorgeous and expensive white terry robe from The Hills once because I said, “oh, I’ll just touch this up before I go to bed – I won’t get anything on my robe” and I proceeded to drag the sleeve across the canvas after I did the touch up! Arrrrggghh!
