    1. Two Amazon.com Email Gift Card for a few of my hard-working A Girl Must Shop contributors.
      Amazon Email Gift Card
    2. A little treat for myself for just $8.70 during a recent 70% off sale.
Sterling Silver Green and Clear Crystal Band Ring Set
    3. My laptop is slowly aging. The memory card from my husband’s new camera was too “advanced” for my laptop to read. Thus the upgraded memory card reader.
Kingston 9-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader FCR-ML+SD/2GB
    4. I saw this at Barnes and Noble and just had to get it. It’s filled with the most amazing (non-tacky) craft ideas! I got it used for $9.58 +shipping. Not too shabby with a cover price of $35 and Amazon’s new price of $23.10.

    5. Aye, my computer, I mentioned it was aging. I had to reformat the hard-drive and I lost my 8GB flash drive, so I upgraded to the 16GB to back up all my important documents.
      Kingston DataTraveler I Generation 2 - 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive DTIG2/16GB (Red)
    6. I’ve been trying to lose weight and wanted a pedometer to track my steps but I wanted a really good one. This one does the trick.
      Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer
    7. I bought this book for my book club. While I normally enjoy Anita Shreve, I found this one a little disappointing. But definitely a bargain at $3.99, used.
The Last Time They Met: A Novel
    8. And here is the aforementioned Camera that I gifted my husband with on our wedding day. We both love it!
Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
    9. I’m a huge Jodi Picoult fan and pre-ordered this book so that I got it on the day it went on sale.
      Handle with Care: A Novel
    10. I ordered this shortly after I purchased my new T-Mobile G1 Phone with Google, Black (T-Mobile). It’s red, has a nice smooth, not shiny, texture to it and makes my phone stand out.
Solid Red Rubberized Snap On Crystal Case with Clip for T-Mobile HTC G1 Google Phone Dream Smartphone
    11. I’m a huge fan of Twilight. I read all of the books in like, a week. I pre-ordered the DVD and got it the day it came out in stores.
      Twilight (Two-Disc Special Edition)
    12. A gift for my (then) fiance. He loved the Planet Earth TV Series, so I got him the book.
Planet Earth: As You've Never Seen It Before
    13. Our wedding song.
      Stuck on You - MP3

    BlogHer Boston Meetup

Jun 23, 2009 Author: Megan | Filed under: BlogHer

Better late than never, I always say.

Not last Saturday, but the Saturday before I attended the first ever Boston BlogHer Meetup, Hosted by the lovely and talented Susan Getgood and sponsored by Peapod, Springpad, Friendy’s, Home Free Treats, and Hebrew National.

I picked up BFF Janet on my way to Boston to pickup city-bound BlogHers Mishi, Alana, and Emma and they ooh-ed and aah-ed about the scenery. The city girls had never seen the country before.

The event was a blast. I immediately hit it off with Melanie (The Coupon Goddess) and Susan (from Transient Travels) over a bottle of wine (of course) and met a bunch of Boston BlogHers including Karen (from 3Garnets2Sapphires) Mommi Niri and BlogHim Daddy Scratches.

The hours went by way too fast and I made promises to my new Boston BlogFriends to setup another get-together real soon!

Ms. Melanie and I hit it off from the beginning and we have been sharing our blog-secrets with each other (I’ve been helping her with the nuts and bolts of her blog and she’s inspiring me with her advanced couponing techniques) and are going to meet up this Friday for some gabbing, blogging and most likely shopping. I’m definitely looking forward to it.
